Civic Education for Engaged Citizenship is an initiative of Shehri – Citizens for a Better Environment (Shehri-CBE), supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). The project focuses on empowering youth in Karachi through civic education, awareness, and engagement. Its mission is to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for active citizenship, covering areas such as constitutional rights, governance, legislation, and electoral processes.
Through workshops, training programs, mentorship, and digital resources, the project seeks to create a more informed, responsible, and engaged generation of citizens.

When I started working on this project:
1. Build a clean, responsive website with intuitive navigation.
2. Design a logo and visual identity that reflect civic values.
3. Improve search engine ranking / visibility for civic education‑related keywords.
4. Produce engaging content (blog articles, knowledge resources).
5. Market events for maximum reach and participation.
– Messaging and tone must match the audience (students, academics, NGOs).
– SEO is continuous: monitoring search data uncovers new content opportunities.
– Event promotion works best with repeated exposure and partnerships.
– Visual consistency builds trust and credibility.
